Classic Love

Lindsay & James Akrong

PHOTOGRAPHY: Davide Greene

Four-years from the day of their first date, Lindsay and James said ‘I do’ to their happily ever after. After meeting at McMaster University, they dated for three and a half years before James proposed on what was planned to be a typical Saturday night. Not so typical, but oh-so charming, was his proposal in the same Toronto neighbourhood and dinner at the restaurant where they had their fi rst date. That same charm was evident at their outdoor ceremony in the sculpture garden and a reception at The Art Gallery of Hamilton. Lindsay and James perfected the classic ambience that a simple and relaxed wedding can achieve. With three different floral centrepieces, a string trio for the ceremony, mini chalkboard place cards from Etsy and remarkable food, the guests were able to enjoy the little touches that helped to represent the couple. Creative, unique and interesting were all the things the couple wanted for their wedding and at the end of the day it’s what made for an intimate and special cocktail party-feel for all.
